    Scientific Perspective on Disease “X”

    Dharmendra Kumar*

    A new and mysterious illness, termed Disease X, poses a potential threat to the global population of 8.2 billion people. To date, neither the causative agent of Disease X has been identified, nor has any effective cure or preventive measure been developed.
